Sore feet

Hi all, just wanted to get some opinions, I have been suffering from sore feet snow boarding since I began 3 years agoe and nothing has changed, I thought I just had to break in my professionally fitted boots but no, I upgraded to high end geniuses bindings and nothing, now trying Burton Stepons and just the boots hurt. All the forums say the are to tight but as you know if your boots are loose so is your ride. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  1. Mike,
If your boots are professionally fit and you also have a custom footbed, that is about all you can do to improve comfort of the boot. That leads me to believe that we may want to play with your stance. Your stance may be too wide, too narrow, or at angles that aren’t advantageous to your physiology. We could also add canting to your bindings/boots. It may take some experimenting to find out what works best for you.

    • Thanks for the reply, my stance is 0 degrees in the back and 15 in the front and an arm width apart. It did find out the new boots might need heat treatment or I’ll just have to wear them in. I’ll see if it gets better with use. Cheers Ryan
