Michiru WHS

Passing on some experience from my volunteering with Michi.

We ski on the carpets for the first part before lunch. He is quiet confident going slowly by himself, but may need a little help in the lift line. Can be distracted by the chair lift as he does like all sorts of lifts. So we have used the idea of being good skiing on the carpets and then we can go on the chair later. After lunch one or two runs on the chair using links and tethers to help make turns as well as for speed control. It’s good to make commands on which way to turn or having someone in front to try and follow. He cannot yet make turns on his own but has great balance in his small wedge.

Lots if fun to ski with, I hope you have a good time.
